Ti Sento Jewellery

24 Jun

At the beginning of the Summer I was invited to the Ti Sento flagship store in the Trafford Centre to take a look at their collection.

To be honest, I had not really paid any attention to the beautiful, sleek, white, sparkly shop up until now as their collection is silver probably because I am a gold girl and it wouldn’t generally be on my radar. However, I was not disappointed.

The shop itself is beautiful and inviting. It definitely has a high end feel without the high end prices and the staff are very approachable and friendly. You know sometimes when you enter a designer shop and you feel distinctly uncomfortable as you meet the frosty glares of the staff? Not at Ti Sento.

So, Ti Sento launched its first collection in early 2003 and the brand has continued to stay on trend and in fashion. It is well known across Europe and is already well established in the UK. It is great that they chose Manchester to have their flagship store rather than London!

The collection of rhodium plated sterling silver jewellery contains rings, wrist wear, necklaces and earrings in stunning designs and dazzling colours. Ti Sento is an Italian brand which means “I feel you”. All their jewellery is designed to make the wearer feel ultra special. All the stones are hand set and each piece has a romantic and feminine feel with a contemporary twist.

I was impressed by the wide range of designs on offer. If you love simple, delicate pieces or bold, statement pieces there is something for you!

The jewellery is meant to mix and match so you can change your look. Their ear charms are so clever.  you can keep your look understated with a simple hoop for the office and then pile on the bling for cocktails after work! How gorgeous are these?

I loved their Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Il Giorno Nuovo, which was a welcome burst of colour. They have taken inspiration from light, colours and structures and the jewellery reminds me of the ocean and beautiful sandy beaches.

My favourites, though, are the cocktail rings – simply gorgeous! I will definitely be adding one to my collection very soon.

If you are looking to treat yourself or you are looking for a keepsake or gift for a loved one, why not pop in to Ti Sento at the Trafford Centre? I have already taken a couple of Personal Shopping clients into the store and they love it! You will be sure to find the perfect gift – which comes in a beautiful presentation pouch to make your shopping experience extra special!

Perfect Prom Dress

Perfect Prom Dress
I spotted this gorgeous dress in Coast at the Trafford Centre on a recent Personal Shopping trip – just THE perfect prom dress! Of course it would be perfect for ANY special occasion – be it a wedding or garden party. I love the elaborate applique and the striking contrast colour way. The graphic floral detail is so on trend this season. It is a very romantic dress but also a little edgy.

The Mycah dress features a patent skinny belt that cinches in at the waist complimenting its slightly flared pleated skirt making for a sensational silhouette. This style of dress is great if you are Triangle or Pear shape as it will draw the attention above the waist.

As the dress is SO striking keep the rest of your outfit simple and let the dress do the talking. I’ve teamed it with very understated jewellery from Stella and Dot . I’ve also chosen to bring out the pink in the accessories but it would look equally fab with nude heels and clutch. You will certainly be the belle of the ball in this number!

Are you tearing your hair out looking for an outfit for a special occasion?

Lovely new feedback from Rose!

25 Aug

I am always touched when I receive lovely feedback from a client and this email is no exception!

Rose contacted me for a Personal Shopping trip (my favourite project) earlier on in the summer. She had lost her way a bit with colours. I knew she would look fab in clear, bright colours but she was a bit scared of them. After having coffee with her to discuss her requirements a few weeks before, we met at the Trafford Centre. Our first stop was Marks & Spencers. I persuaded her to try on a cyclamen linen jacket with a white t shirt and matching scarf. As you can see below she loved her new look!

“Hi Susan, I have been meaning to let you know how I’ve got on but the weeks have flown by as things have been chaotic – will spare you the details.

I went back to M + S a couple of days later and found an pair of white pants in a very similar style + length (tiny bit shorter) to the red ones but with no turn-ups. They were a great fit.. I absolutely love the pink  M + S jacket by the way.

I have been wearing a Mint Velvet striped top, that I bought last year, with the white pants and stripy shoes.  I also found a red and white poker-dot scarf, which I have been tying at the side, to finish off the red pants + shoes outfit. I’ve been complemented on this outfit so many times and told on several occasions that it looks Parisian.

Finally, I have worn the maxi dress a couple of times and feel great in it. The colours and style are fab.  Again, so many compliments and, as with the pink jacket, I don’t think I would have tried it on if I’d been on my own.

In short, I’ve been wearing everything we bought and feel good in all of it and even though I had to finish off buying a few bits at least I new exactly what I was looking for. So I feel it was a very successful day that put me back on track.
Saving up for phase two, hopefully around the end of Sept. beginning Oct.
So it’s a big thank you and, once again, sorry for taking so long to get back.”

Susan’s Style Search – Zena

24 Jun

I was on a pre-shop expedition for a Personal Shopping client when I spotted Zena. The weather was just miserable and I was so drawn to her ice cream pastel shades which are so on trend this Spring Summer and really suited her skin tone.

I asked her if she had any style inspirations and she replied that she liked to create her own look. However, she did share with me her frustrations with finding age appropriate clothes. I do think there is a definite problem for 40 plus women who wish to create a modern look without looking like mutton dressed as lamb. I don’t think Zena has anything to worry about as she has nailed her look perfectly. She manages to look fresh with a definite Romantic style personality. Just look at her pretty up do!

I asked her where she usually shops and she stated that high street stores are her favourite. Her aqua cardigan is from Top Shop – I loved this teamed with the coral pink scarf and her cute patent bag is from Ted Baker.

Special mention has to go to her amazing plimsoles that she customised herself! Aren’t they pretty?

Zena you certainly brightened my day!
