From Frumpy to Fabulous

22 Feb

Mary came for a Complete Makeover recently. She told me that she felt “frumpy” and wanted to completely update her look. When we looked at her face shape, I explained to her that her hairstyle was not the most flattering for her. Also her glasses were the wrong colour and shape. Simply by changing these two things, she could look 10 years younger immediately. Mary had NEVER worn make-up and was astounded by the difference a light make-up could make to her. She loved my Colour Me Beautiful Sandalwood lipstick and has since received compliments when wearing it. She also learned how important accessories are to finish her look.

We decided that she was a “City Chic” style personality and she is looking forward to trying out this kind of look in the future. I just received this lovely email from Mary below.

City Chic

“I did enjoy our session together and learnt a lot and it has made me think about

clothes in a new way.My wardrobe has been culled and I am looking forward to

buying the right clothes for me.

The scarf video is great and I have been experimenting with different styles.I like

the scarf you gave me and am looking forward to the one you will choose to send

me when you get your supply back.

I am making an effort to wear mascara and lipstick when I leave the house and a couple

of friends have noticed and commented on how it suited me.

I will be sorting out my hair soon but will have to leaves the glasses for a little longer

as they are so expensive.

Thank you for all of your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon.”
